Professional Experience:

  • 1994-2005 – Teaching experience at Precarpathian University.
  • Since 2009 – Head of the Department of German Philology.

Research Interests: Phraseology, national variation of the German language, linguistic-cultural studies, cognitive linguistics, translation studies.

Author of 111 scientific publications, including 62 articles in scientific journals and collections, 35 published papers in conference proceedings, and 14 educational and methodological manuals and edited works.

Member of the editorial board of the English-language scientific journal “Journal of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Scientific Edition. Series of Social and Human Sciences.”

Member of the European Phraseological Society “Europhras”, expert from the Ukrainian side in the international scientific project “Widespread Idioms in Europe and Beyond” (2006-2016).

Opponent at dissertation defenses for the academic degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences in the specialty 10.02.04 – Germanic Languages at the Specialized Scientific Councils of Kyiv National Linguistic University, Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko, Chernivtsi National University named after Yuriy Fedkovych, and Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.
